Everyone should feel welcome to participate – whether you’re a participant, athlete, coach, employee, board member, leader or volunteer.
By fostering diversity, equity and inclusion across the sector workforce, we can provide positive experiences and achieve better outcomes for all the communities that make up Aotearoa New Zealand.
Every few years, Sport NZ runs a survey to understand the experiences of people working in the play, active recreation and sport sector.
Reporting on the results of this survey and supporting organisations to build diversity, equity and inclusion capability are key parts of Strategic Priority 1 in Sport NZ’s 2024-2028 Strategy.
